Welcome to the Patient Participation Group
We would like to know how we can improve our service for you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.
The Group’s aim is: To foster effective communication between the practice and the registered patients and to promote patient engagement in the development of the practice.
To help us with this, we have a Patient Participation Group so that you can have your say. We will ask the members of this Patient Participation Group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email about meetings.
We aim to gather around a hundred patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, retirees and people with long term conditions.
Our Patient Groups meet quarterly per surgery and we have a mixture of staff that attend and it's great to get as many patients involved as we can so that we can get as much feedback as possible and let you know about any changes that might be happening at your surgery or the practice in general.
If you are interested in joining your Grove Surgery PPG please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your details and which surgery you attend.
The Patient participation group offers patients a unique relationship between patients, GPs and their practice. It allows patients to work in partnership with their surgery and discuss improvements in services and quality of care. Its also improves communication between the practice and patients as we are able to inform you of any upcoming changes and float ideas that we might have.
Friends and family test
Our Friends and Family Test is a really useful feedback tool which offers patients the opportunity to give us constant feedback about their care and treatment they have received. You can also look at the results of previous response and this allows us to have a continuous loop between patients and staff.
Would you recommend us to friends and family? Fill in the questionnaire here.
