This practice was originally founded in 1883 and became the first partnership formed in the Solihull area in 1895 when Dr A V Bernays (Solihull) was joined Dr E S J Whitehouse (Shirley).

The Doctors

The practice has 14 doctors.

Our team also includes GP Registrars who are doctors in training for general practice who are attached to the practice for either one year or six months at a time.

You are free to make an appointment with any of these doctors, subject to availability, but we would encourage you to stay with the same doctor to provide continuity of care.

Nursing Team

Our practice nurses and health care assistants deal with an array of problems and patients do not always need to see the doctor.

For some problems such as vaccinations, blood tests or cervical smears booking with a doctor may mean a wasted journey and appointment.

This is one of the reasons why our receptionist may enquire about the nature and urgency of your problem to ensure that you see the correct person.

Our practice nurses can help with:
